This FN-licensed M249 Para „Featherweight” airsoft machine gun solves all the problems that arise when you want to use a light machine gun on the field but lack the strength and/or desire to carry it all day. This M249 weighs only 8 pounds, which is almost 50% less than its full-metal version! However, fear not – just because it is lightweight does not mean it is weak and fragile. The receiver and chassis are made of fiber-reinforced nylon polymer, which is engineered with an extra-high-strength design, making this „Featherweight” variant extremely durable.

The FN M249 Featherweight has shed a few more pounds by ditching the original, brick-heavy standard M249 gearbox design in favor of a lighter, upgraded Version 2 gearbox. This gearbox is equipped with an electronic trigger system and a built-in MOSFET, making this weapon not only comfortable but also a truly impressive airsoft gun.
