It is very important for military personnel to have good spatial orientation. In such cases, a compass will be useful for navigation. A compass works thanks to the interaction between built-in permanent magnets and the Earth's magnetic field. Its needle points north and south under any conditions.
This model is a classic map compass with a mirror. The transparent casing allows information to be read directly on a map. For more convenient map work, parallel lines are marked on the compass casing.
