Specna Arms: The Retro series was developed in collaboration with S&T/AGM. It is a series of classic historical replicas designed for fans of legendary designs from past decades. Models in this series accurately reflect the appearance of the original weapons, making them ideal for historical reenactments and an excellent choice for enthusiasts of historical firearm replicas.
First of all, one thing must be clarified: the MP40 is not a "Schmeisser" (even though the markings on the magazine of the historical weapon version were misleading).
This Specna Arms replica is intended for enthusiasts of historical military equipment and those interested in the history of the Second World War.

The gun features the legendary folding stock – it can be easily folded, minimizing the replica's dimensions. Interestingly, the RETRO version offers both semi-automatic and automatic firing modes. Depending on whether the charging handle is in the forward or rear position, the replica will fire single shots or in bursts.
Inside the replica is an X-ASR MOSFET.
The top-quality X-ASR MOSFET ensures the safety of the replica's components, improves trigger response, and extends the life of the electronics and battery, while allowing for the diagnosis of basic replica malfunctions thanks to built-in LED indicators.
