The Specna Arms: Retro series was developed in collaboration with S&T/AGM. It is a series of classic historical replicas designed for enthusiasts of legendary designs from past decades. The SVD is one of the most recognizable sniper rifles. This replica of the model created in the 1960s is made of metal and wood. The stock and butt plate of the replica are made of elegant wood, giving the replica its unique character. The muzzle, outer barrel, gas block, gas tube, receiver, and magazine are made of metal (the magazine housing and all pins and screws are made of steel). The set includes a wooden cheek rest with soft fabric padding, which improves comfort when aiming.
The replica is spring-powered – it must be reloaded after every shot. On the side of the receiver, there is a "dovetail" mount, which allows for the use of, for example, a PSO-1 scope.
The internal parts of the replica include a steel cylinder and spring guide, as well as an aluminum piston and an adjustable Hop-Up chamber.
