The helmet shell is made of durable polymer, making the structure durable and lightweight at the same time. An undoubted advantage of the helmet is its high adaptability and fit to the user's head. This is provided by a set of modular pillows made of hard polymer and soft foam material, which can be freely positioned inside the helmet thanks to the overlays. A wide range of adjustment options is also provided by the 4-point face part with a soft chin part, which is attached with a fastex buckle. An additional advantage of the face part is that it is made as a closed system, i.e. it does not have free, protruding adjustment straps. Size adjustment is carried out with a convenient button located on the back of the helmet.
Like many other helmets based on the Fast design, the X-Shield is equipped with side mounting rails that allow you to attach additional equipment such as goggles, tactical lighting, headphones, etc. The front of the helmet has a metal VAS mount that allows you to install NVG systems.
